Shocking news to all malaysian, Sheikh Mustafa Shukor Al Masrie, 32, the brother of Angkasawan Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor, died at 6pm yesterday at Universiti Malaya Medical Centre here without regaining consciousness since going into a coma last Sunday after falling and hitting his head in a restaurant in Taman Desa. His body was taken to his family's home in Section 12, Petaling Jaya, last night. Veterinarian Datuk Sheikh Mustapa Shukor said he was elated and sad at the same time. “This is because one of my sons managed to go to space and returned safely while the other just passed away,” he said.In a telephone interview from Moscow, the Angkasawan said: “When I went to space I found my life. But when I returned, I lost the life of a loved one.”
